Website owners must migrate to the schema.org brand if they want to maintain access to rich results from Google. The company announced the upcoming changes in January. UPDATE: On April 6, Google postponed this change due to a coronavirus situation. On October 30, the company announced that it would stop supporting the data-vocabulary.org brand on January 31, 2021. Why do we care If you don’t change it to a schema tag for structured data, the rich results will disappear from the search results page after April 6th. This could mean lost visibility and traffic. Check your message in the Google Search Console to see any warnings and resolve issues before April 6th.
